Knee Joint Periphery Tender Tissue

Knee joint periphery tender tissue means that the is damage to the sinew, muscle, ligament(s) or ligaments in and around the knee joint. It is mostly known as asimpair sinew and the cause is from overwork or trauma and has accumulated.

In clinical practice, both sides can be observed of the collateral ligament impaired, cross ligament impaired or sub patellar ligament impairment.

Swelling appears with distending pain and/or movement dysfunction. If you press and it is painful at the site where there is damage it is a basis for impairment. In cases of impairment in both collateral ligaments there is a depression pain at the condylus med-lateral femoris.

If the diseased knee is tested for adduction and eversion and there is a pulling pain in cases of being over the range of normal for adduction and eversion. There may have been tearing of the ligament. If the cross ligament impairment is swelling and it is nopress pain to an area where it became impaired .If tearing, there will be a hematoma in the knee joint cavity. Subpatellar impairment onset is slow and have press pain in the subpatellar both sides of the quadriceps femoris. Generally, there is only chronic soreness but not swelling-pain.

This is different from chronic arthritis. While the area where there is press pain in subpatellar impairment similar with the meniscus, there must be a differentiation by the history of the disease with a meniscus test via an X-ray.
