Common Cold/Flu
A Cold is literally impaired wind, caused by virus or bacillus infections. It can occur in all four seasons but most common in cold and chilly climates or during the winter. According to Chinese Medicine, this disease is invaded by wind pathogenic factors leading to loss of function that causes dispersion and descension of Lung’s Qi. Lung’s Qi pass through the nose and combines with the skin and hair, resulting in invasion of skin and hair follicle by exterior pathogenic factors.
